About Me
I'm a senior software engineer at Metron, where I do full-stack development on a state-of-the-art Markov chain Monte Carlo application for Bayesian tracking of maritime objects. I also do research and development on particle filtering and other related mathematical algorithms for state tracking.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at KU Leuven in Belgium. My research there was focused on quantum and higher-derivative corrections to black holes, in addition to studying precision holography for Euclidean geometries in string theory.
Before that, I obtained a Ph.D in physics from the University of Michigan. I worked with Dr. Finn Larsen in the Leinweber Institute for Theoretical Physics, where my research focused on non-supersymmetric black holes in supergravity and string theory.
